  1. Babies born to a mother infected with hepatitis B will be offered a first vaccine dose within 12-24 hours after birth and simultaneously with HB immunoglobulin. The following and second vaccine dose is given 4 weeks apart from the first. Starting from the third dose, which is given from 61 days of life onwards, the vaccination calendar schedule including the combined hexavalent vaccine should be used.
