  1. Primary immunisation with a hexavalent vaccine as soon as possible after the age of 6 weeks (in any case by 3 months of age)
  2. Second dose of a hexavalent vaccine should be given 2 months after the first dose

However, these booster doses are only offered for free in other adults in Flanders region.
  8. Routine vaccination against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, poliomyelitis, Haemophilus influenzae type B infections, and viral hepatitis type B vaccination begins at 6 weeks of age. Second and third doses are given at week 10 and week 14. For children born to mothers vaccinated during pregnancy against pertussis, mandatory immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, poliomyelitis, Haemophilus influenzae type B infections, and viral hepatitis type B is carried out from two months of age. Subsequent immunizations are administered no earlier than 4 weeks after the previous dose, at three and four months of age, respectively. For children born to mothers vaccinated during pregnancy against pertussis, mandatory immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, poliomyelitis, Haemophilus influenzae type B infections, and viral hepatitis type B is carried out from two months of age. Subsequent immunizations are administered no earlier than 4 weeks after the previous dose, at three and four months of age, respectively.

  10. Immunization against pertussis is given to pregnant women between the 27th and 36th weeks of pregnancy. A booster of TDaP reduced-antigen vaccine and the administration are free of charge for pregnant women and funded by the National Health system.

  12. dTap booster for children in the 4th grade of primary school
  13. dTap booster given to students in grade 8
  14. Tdap vaccination of all pregnant women in the second and third trimester

  16. The first dose of hexavalent vaccine is given from the end of the 2nd month of life, at intervals of two months between the first and the second dose, and the third dose given between the eleventh and thirteenth months of the child's age
  17. One booster dose in adulthood is recommended, 10 to 15 years after the last dose. Pertussis vaccination is also recommended for pregnant women from the 27th gestational week. Vaccination is recommended at every pregnancy.

  19. dtap-vaccine for pregnant women during every pregnancy. dtap-vaccine is also given every 5 year to health and welfare workers who are working with infants.

  21. For those who did not receive a dose of pertussis containing vaccine during the past 5 years, a booster with a quadrivalent vaccine (dTacp-IPV) is recommended at the time of the Td-IPV booster at 25 years. For those aged 25 years and above that did not receive a booster dose, catch-up with a dTacp-IPV vaccine can be proposed until 39 years of age. Recommendation to have an interval of 10 years in adults between a documented pertussis and pertussis re-vaccination.   22. The first due Td 10-yearly booster dose should be with a Tdacp vaccine. Subsequent booster doses are to be done with Td vaccines. Vaccination offered to pregnant women at the beginning of 3rd trimester. If there is an increased probability of premature birth, vaccination should be brought forward to the 2nd trimester.   23. Booster dose 18- 25 y with Tdap or Tdap-IPV, followed by Td or Tdap every 10 y. A single dose of Tdap or Tdap-IPV vaccine should be administered in each pregnancy, preferably from 27 to 36 weeks of gestation, as well as to unvaccinated women who have recently given birth, regardless of the interval between previous Tdacp vaccination.

  28. Tdap - Vaccination for pregnant women between 16-36 weeks gestation.
  29. Tdap is recommended every 10 years from age 19, and also for pregnant women in the third trimester (ideally 28 weeks)
  30. Six-year-old children may be vaccinated with vaccinations for 7-year-old children, if the child is beginning to study in an educational institution.
  31. Pertussis antigen during pregnancy
  32. A lower dose of diphtheria toxoid (d) and whooping cough (ap) can also be used (dTap) The pertussis booster provided between the ages of 4 and 7 years should be administered no later than school entry.
  33. Booster at 25 years (dTap), 45 years (dT) and 65 years (dT), and then every 10 years (dT)
  34. Vaccination during pregnancy
  35. For premature infants (born before 33 weeks) or with a birthweight <1500g, a 3+1 schedule is recommended
  36. One booster dose of Tdacp-IPV in this age group.
  37. One booster dose every 10 years. Vaccination for pregnant women between 13-26 weeks gestation - Tdap or TdapIPV vaccine
  38. This additional vaccination is recommended only for infants at 2 months of age whose mothers were not vaccinated during pregnancy, and in specific circumstances. In all other cases, infants born to mothers vaccinated during pregnancy (at 22 weeks gestation) receive a two-dose primary series at 3 and 5 months of age.
